Pengaruh Penambahan Probiotik Dengan Frekuensi Yang Berbeda Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Kelulushidupan Udang Vaname (Litopenaeus Vannamei )
This study aims to determine the frequency of adding the best probiotics to
increase the growth rate and survival rate of vaname shrimp (Litopenaeus
vannamei). This research was conducted from April - May 2020 at the Laboratory
of Aquaculture Technology, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, University of Riau.
The container used was an aquarium measuring 40 cm x 30 cm x 30 cm as many
as 12 units with a stocking density of 1 fish/L. This study used a one-factor
completely randomized design (CRD) method with four levels of treatment and
three replications. The level of treatment applied to the study was P0 = without
the addition of probiotics (Control), P1 = addition of probiotics every 7 days, P2 =
addition of probiotics once every 14 days and P3 = addition of probiotics once
every 21 days. The results showed that the addition of probiotics with different
frequencies had a significant effect (P 0.05) on the survival of vaname shrimp. The best treatment was found
at a frequency of 7 days, which resulted in absolute weight growth (2.14 g),
specific growth rate (7.55%), feed conversion (0.84), and survival rate (98.3%).
