Penerapan Model Inkuiri Berbantuan Diagram Vee Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Dan Keterampilan Proses Sains Pada Materi Larutan Penyangga SMA
Chemistry learning objectives can be achieved if students are actively involved in the learning process by applying an inquiry model that can help students find their own concepts and can practice science process skills. The application of the Vee diagram assisted inquiry model can improve conceptual understanding which in turn will improve the science process skills of students, especially in the buffer solution material.
The population in this study were all students of class XI SMAN 14 Pekanbaru, totaling 133 students consisting of class XI IPA1, XI IPA 2, XI IPA 3 and XI IPA 4. The sample in this study amounted to 67 students consisting of class XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2. The design of this research is true experimental which consists of experimental class and control class, with a 2x2 factorial design . The significant level set is 0.05, the price Box'M obtained 0.189 significant because of > 0.05 and Wilk's Lamda .787 with F count > F table (F table = 3.91 at α = 0.05 db = N-2 = 133-2 = 131), (35,372> 3.91) this means that there are differences in understanding the concept of using the Vee diagram assisted inquiry model and without the Vee diagram . The Box'M price obtained was 0.235 significant because > 0.05 and Wilk's Lamda 0.735 with F count > F table (F table = 3.91 at α = 0.05 db = N-2 = 133-2 = 131), (47,175> 3,91) means that there are differences in science process skills using the Vee diagram assisted inquiry model and without the Vee diagram .
Based on the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the experimental and control classes on students' understanding of the concepts and science process skills of students. With the differences obtained, it shows an increase in the understanding of concepts and science process skills in the experimental class.
