Services at the Fish Auction Place at the Sibolga Archipelago Fishing Port, it was
found weaknesses, the method of inputting data on fishery port service receipts at
the Fish Auction Place which was still done manually. This study examines the
design of data input applications to facilitate the input and calculation process at
the fish auction. This application is used for the purpose of compiling a data input
application for service acceptance at fishing ports using the Visual Basic For
Application found in Microsoft Excel. This research was conducted in February
2020 at the Sibolga Archipelago Fishing Port. The method used is a survey by
building an application in the form of a Graphical User Interface in accordance
with field data. The result is that the data input process provides a work time
efficiency of around 90% compared to the manual method. Another advantage is
that the data that is executed is stored automatically in the database.
