Analisis Pendapatan Dan Bagi Hasil Antara Tauke Dan Nelayan Purse Seine Di Kecamatan Teluk Nibung Kota Tanjung Balai Provinsi Sumatera Utara
This research was conducted in February - March 2020 in Teluk Nibung
sub district, Tanjug Balai city, North Sumatera Province. The location of this
research was chosen deliberately (purposive).
Based on the results of research conducted on the analysis of income and
profit sharing between tauke and purse seine fishermen in Teluk Nibung Sub
District, Tanjung Balai City, North Sumatra Province, then the total income of
purse seine fishermen in a month before sharing the results in the peak season is
around IDR. 164,567,045.45, in the medium season it ranges from IDR.
122,562,272.73. The profit sharing system implemented in Teluk Nibung Sub
District is 50% of the net proceeds minus fixed capital (depreciation and
maintenance costs) for owner fishermen and 50% for labor fishermen from the net
results, with an agreement on operating costs for the purse seine fishing business
to be borne jointly. This joint responsibility has been agreed between the owner
fishermen and labor fishermen, which has been a hereditary rule from long ago.
The profit-sharing system implemented in Teluk Nibung Sub District has met the
regulations of Law No.16 of 1964 concerning Fishery Production Sharing, which
if a motorboat is used a minimum of 40% of the net proceeds for labor fishermen,
while in Teluk Nibung Sub District more than 40% is distributed for labor
fishermen that is 50%.
