Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Matematika Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah Untuk Memfasilitasi Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Pada Materi Barisan Dan Deret Kelas XI SMA
The background of this research is student’s abilities are not optimal in Mathematical Problem Solving (MPSA) because they are lack of learning tools that train them about mathematical problem solving skills, especially Student Worksheets (SW). In line with that, the purpose of this study is to develop mathematics learning tools that meet valid and practical requirements to facilitate mathematical problem-solving abilities in the class XI SMA class line and series material. The line and series material were chosen because the results of the 2019 National Examination (NE) were below the minimum score (below 5.0) it is set by the government
The type of this research is development research, learning tools which are developed use 4 D Model stages, Those are : 1. Defining stage (preliminary-final analysis, student analysis, material analysis, task analysis and objective specification analysis), 2. Designing stage (choosing a format and designing a learning tool in the form of a syllabus , Implementation Lesson Plan (LP), and SW) 3. Developing Stage (Expert validation, small group trials and large group trials) Disseminating stage. In the developing stage, was only carried out until the practical test just to see the practicality of the learning tools which is being developed, this was due to the current condition of the Covid-19 outbreak in Pekanbaru.
The learning tools which are developed consist of syllabus, Lesson Plan (LP), and SW (Students worksheet). There are three instruments used in this research. The first instrument is validity sheet to get validity data of learning tools and the second one is implementation observation sheet and student’s questionnaire. Learning tools will be said valid in this research if the result is more than 70 % based on validator assessment. Meanwhile, it will be said practical if the percentage level obtains from student’s questionnaire more than 70 %. Based on the result of validity analysis, it can be concluded that mathematic learning tools which are based problem solving have been valid with the result syllabus validity 89, 38%, LP (lesson plan) 90,46% and student’s worksheet (SW) 89,72%.
Learning tool has been tested to 8 students of XII MIPA 1 class SMA Babussalam Pekanbaru, who have studied about sequence and series material. It aims to see the readability of student worksheet that is developed. Based on the result of student’s questionnaires at the limited trial stage show that student’s worksheet meets very practical criteria with percentage obtained 85,71%. Students worksheet was revised based on suggestions from students. Then revising learning tool has been tested or trying out to 25 students from XI MIPA 1 class SMA Babussalam Pekanbaru. The field trying out was held for six meetings to see the practicality of syllabus, LP and SW. The result of questionnaires analysis toward SW was 88.32%. The teacher’s response questionnaire achieves 93.06%. These show that learning tools which are developed have met very practical

criteria, additionally, observation sheet also shows that it fulfils practical criteria. Then learning tools were revised based on suggestions from students and teachers.
After revising, the learning tools became the product of this research. The result of the research Development of Problem Based Mathematics Learning Tools to Facilitate the ability of Mathematical Problem Solving in Sequence and Series has been Valid and Practical.
