Pengaruh Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah Terhadap Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Dan Self Regulated Learning (SRL) Siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri Kabupaten Pelalawan
This research is motivated by various problems that occur in
schools. Such as the weakness of the learning process and the inactivity
of students in learning. The teacher seems to dominate learning so that
learning cannot provide opportunities for students to learn.
Things like this are also found in SMA Negeri Pelalawan Regency
where learning is more teacher-centered so that learning only goes one
way. In addition, the mathematical ability of students at SMA Negeri
Pelalawan is still low, because when many students are given
assignments and math problems they find it difficult to do them.
This study aims to: 1) To find out whether the mathematical
communication skills of Pelalawan State Senior High School students
using the PBM model are better than students who receive conventional
learning, 2) To find out whether there is an interaction between the PBM
model and the ability level of students' mathematical communication skills,
3) To find out whether mathematical communication skills between
students whose learning using the PBM model is better than conventional
learning in terms of high, medium, and low levels, 4) To find out whether
the mathematical communication skills of students whose learning uses
the PBM model in the experimental class are better in terms of high,
medium, and low levels, 5) To find out whether SRL between students
whose learning uses the PBM model is better than conventional learning,
6) To find out whether the interaction between PBM models is better with
the ability level towards SRL students, 7) To find out whether SRL among
students whose learning using the PBM model is better than conventional
learning in terms of high, medium, and low levels, 8) To find out whether
SRL students whose learning uses the PBM model in the experimental
class is better in terms of high, medium, and low levels
The research model used in this article is the Quasi Experimental
Design with the pretest-postest control group design research design. The
sample used was class X SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kerinci. The
instrument in this study was a test of mathematical communication skills
using the t-test, two-way ANOVA test and one-way ANOVA test.
The results of data analysis obtained in this study are: 1) the ability
of mathematical communication between Pelalawan State Senior High
School students learning using the PBM model is better than students who
receive conventional learning, 2) there is an interaction between the PBM
model and the ability level of students' mathematical communication skills,
3) Mathematical communication skills between students whose learning
using the PBM model is better than conventional learning in terms of high,
medium, and low levels, 4) the mathematical communication skills of
students whose learning uses the PBM model in the experimental class is

better in terms of high, medium, and high levels. low, 5) SRL between
students whose learning using the PBM model is better than conventional
learning, 6) there is an interaction between the PBM model better with the
ability level of the student's SRL, 7) SRL between students whose learning
uses the PBM model is better with learning n conventional in terms of high,
medium, and low levels, 8) SRL students whose learning uses the PBM
model in the experimental class is better in terms of high, medium, and low
levels
