Kualitas Kertas Daur Ulang Dengan Metode Teknik Tuang Menggunakan Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Used paper is one of the potential sources of fiber which can be used as an alternative raw
material for wood for making paper by recycling. This study aims to study the process of
making recycled paper using a statistical process control (SPC) method, to determine the
characteristics of the recycled paper produced, including moisture content (%), paper
thickness (mm) and paper gramature (g / m2) and determine the best conditions in the quality
of the process of making recycled paper by the pouring technique method based on the
control paper gramature which is determined by the grain of the resulting paper. The
variables used in this study were variations of paper gramature 100, 150, 200, 300 and 400
gsm. The fixed variables used in this study were the soaking time for 10 hours and the
grinding time for 30 seconds. Paper making with this method is done by pouring paper pulp
into a screen printing with a predetermined amount of pulp to produce 1 sheet of paper and
then drying it in the sun to dry. The process of making recycled paper using this method of
pouring technique is well controlled (in control) on paper with control gramature of 100,
200, 300 and 400 gsm. The paper results of the study have a gramature of 98 - 99.67 g / m2
at a consistency of 0.15%, of 148 - 149.67 g / m2 at a consistency of 0.22%, of 198.67 -
199.67 g / m2 in consistency. 0.30%, amounting to 298.33 - 299.67 g / m2 at a consistency of
0.45% and 398.33 - 399.67 g / m2 at a consistency of 0.60% with an average thickness of the
resulting paper is 0.183 mm, 0.296 mm, 0.501 mm, 0.796 mm and 1.06 mm. The best recycled
paper is recycled paper with a control gramature of 200 gsm and the best water content is
5.1%, 5.90% and 6% at a paper consistency of 0.30%, 0.45% and 0.60%.
