Many studies about concrete have been carried out to obtain alternative
discoveries, various ways have been done to produce concrete with better quality,
one of which is the use of synthesis in concrete with the addition of graphane for
all applications with variations in the addition of a few layers of graphane with the
high-shear method liquid exfoliation. This study aims to determine the effect of
filler graphane on the compressive strength of concrete and its effect on the level
of concrete density. The research process starts from the test of fine aggregate
material and coarse aggregate, for fine aggregate, it is tested for the modulus of
thirst, specific gravity, organic content, sludge content, volume weight and
moisture content, for coarse aggregate the thirst modulus, specific gravity, volume
weight, and moisture content are tested. water and wear test. Furthermore, the
initial test was carried out which aims to determine the level of graphane variation
in concrete and produce variations of 2,5%, 5%, 7,5% and 10% in the form of a
solution to the weight of cement. Furthermore, mixed planning is carried out using
the ACI 211.1-91 method, after that the slump test is carried out, then the concrete
molding process is carried out using a cube mold with a side of 15 x 15 cm, after
the concrete is finished printing, the concrete is soaked (curing) for 28 days, after
28 days the concrete is subjected to weight testing and compression testing. The
results of the compressive strength test in this study experienced a maximum
increase in variation of 5% with an increase in percentage of 35.12% from normal
concrete with a value of 445 kg / cm2.
