Analisis Kandungan Logam Timbal (PB) Dan Cadmium (CD) Pada Tanah Perkebunan Dan Tanaman Jambu Biji (Psidium Guajava) Di Desa Perawang Barat Kabupaten Siak
This study aims to determine the metal content of Pb and Cd in plantation soil and guava plants in the village of west perawang. Analysis of Pb and Cd metals using Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS). Parameters measured were soil pH, Pb and Cd metals in plantation soil, roots, stems/branches, guava leaves and C/P index of plantation soil.
The results of checking show that the pH value of the plantation soil is 5.16. So that the soil pH is categorized as slightly acidic. The Pb content in the soil, roots, branches/stems and leaves of guava, respectively, are 7,71 ppm, 0,40 ppm, 1,35 ppm and 2,18 ppm. The content of Cd metal in the soil is 0,37 ppm, while in the roots, stems/branches and leaves, the content is smaller than 0,2 ppm. The results of the analysis of Pb and Cd metals on plantation soils were still below the WHO threshold, that is, 100 ppm for Pb metal and 3 ppm for Cd metal. ANOVA statistical analysis showed significant differences in Pb metal in the soil, roots, stems/branches and leaves of guava.
Key words: Guava plants (Psidium Guajava), plantation land, Pb and Cd metal
