Hubungan Sanitasi Lingkungan Dengan Kejadian Tubercolosis Paru (Tb-Paru) Bacile Tahan Asam (BTA) Positif (+) Di Kecamatan Bengkalis Kabupaten Bengkalis
Tuberculisis is infectious disease caused by bacteria mycobacterium
tuberculosis. Based on data from the Bengkalis District Health Office in 2019,
Bengkalis District is most pulmonary tuberculosis positive sufferers with the
number of cases as many as 249 sufferers. The study aims to understand the
relation of environmental sanitation with the incidence of Positive Bacile Acid-
Resistant Pulmonary Tuberculosis in Bengkalis District, Bengkalis Regency.
This study was conducted in Bengkalis District, Bengkalis Regency in
October 2020. The samples were determined using the purposive sampling
method. The number of samples taken was 72 respondents divided into 42 positive
respondents for pulmonary tuberculosis and 30 respondents who were negative
for pulmonary tuberculosis. Collecting data in study through observation,
interviews, questionnaires and direct measurements. The analysis method used
were univariate analysis, bivariate analysis with Chi Square and multivariate
analysis.
The results of the analysis show that there is a significant relationship
between the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis with house humidity, ventilation
area, lighting and occupancy density. The multivariate results showed that the
most dominant variables related to the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis in
Bengkalis district were humidity, occupancy density, and house ventilation area.
Simultaneously, the relationship between house humidity variables, house
ventilation area, lighting and occupancy density to the incidence of pulmonary
tuberculosis in Bengkalis sub-district was 56%, while the rest was influenced by
other variables not studied
