Strategi Bersaing Lembaga Pendidikan Nonformal (Studi Kasus: Duta Bahasa Education Solution Pekanbaru)
Education is not only the responsibility of the government alone, but also the responsibility of the community and private parties involved in the field of education. Along with the increasingly rapid development of the times, many educational institutions have sprung up that run education and training service businesses with various educational programs offered. With many educational institutions, there are more choices for prospective students to choose and determine the appropriate educational institutions and of course provide better quality results. Each educational and training institution has the advantages that it wants to offer to prospective students as the advantages of each existing educational institution. It is used as competition in the educational institution industry.
In the face of intense competition for educational and training institutions, it requires these educational and training institutions to always keep abreast of developments in technology and information as well as the needs of the world of work and education. Educational institutions must have the ability to develop strategic options in order to adapt to the dynamic educational business environment.
The purpose of this study was to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges faced by the Language Education Solution Ambassador in the foreign language education business competition. Analyze how the choice of competitive strategies for non-formal educational institutions at Duta Language Education Solution institutions. Providing input on a suitable competitive strategy for DUBES, to be able to win the competition in the foreign language education business. The method in this research is carried out qualitatively, qualitative analysis for processing data obtained in the field through the process of interviews and field observations.
From the analysis of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, the strategy for Duta Bahasa Education Solution is market penetration with several things that must be done, including: pursuing sales growth, profit, market share; expanding market share by adding marketing personnel and items from sales promotion; improve the quality of human resources; increase effective promotion; set competitive prices; conduct research on market needs; working on nisce markets such as TOEFL and TOIEC.
