Pengaruh Produksi Garam, Jumlah Penduduk Dan Nilai Tukar Rupiah Terhadap Impor Garam Di Indonesia Tahun 2005-2019
Imports, according to the directorate general of customs and excise, are
importing goods into customs areas. In general, import is the activity of importing goods
and services from abroad to meet domestic needs with conditions determined by the
government. The purpose of this study was to determine the magnitude of the
significant influence of salt production, population size and exchange rate (Rp /
US $) on salt imports in Indonesia.
The analytical method used in this study is a multiple regression analysis method
with the aid of e-views 10. Data used in the period from 2005-2019. To find the
regression results, classic assumption tests such as normality test, multicollinearity test,
heteroscedasticity test and autocorrelation test were performed. Statistical tests such as
partial test (t test), simultaneous test (f test) and coefficient of multiple determination
(R²).
The results of this study indicate that salt production has no negative and
negative effect on salt imports in Indonesia with a value of -0.034610 and a probability of
0.0615, for the population having a significant and positive effect on salt imports in
Indonesia with a value of 0.0000 and a probability value of 5 , 502776, while the rupiah
exchange rate has a significant and negative effect on salt imports in Indonesia with a
value of -0.89244 and the probability value of 0.0012. The value of R² is 0.929349, this
means that 92.9349% of the salt import variable in Indonesia can be explained by salt
production, population and rupiah exchange rate. The amount of influence caused (R²) by
the two independent variables as a percentage of the dependent variable is 92.9%. While
the remaining 7.1% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
