Pengaruh Resiliensi Dan Dukungan Sosial Terhadap Optimisme Kepala PAUD Kecamatan Tampan Kota Pekanbaru

This study aims to describe the effect of resilience and social support on the optimism of the head of PAUD in Tampan District, Pekanbaru City. The background of the problem in this study is that the head of PAUD in Tampan District, Pekanbaru City does not have high or sufficient optimism such as feeling inferior, nervous, lazy, afraid and others which can be an obstacle for the head of PAUD in Tampan District, Pekanbaru City in interacting both in the environment. school and outside the school environment; Furthermore, the head of PAUD in Tampan Subdistrict, Pekanbaru City is of the view that any task, no matter how big the problem is, feels unmanageable and feels unsure that he is able to control and feels confident that he does not have enormous power over the circumstances that surround him; then, the head of PAUD in Tampan District, Pekanbaru City in fact does not have optimism due to the low resilience of the PAUD head of Tampan District, Pekanbaru City to understand that being an optimistic person when faced with a bad incident will make a specific explanation of what happened; still found the head of PAUD in Tampan Subdistrict, Pekanbaru City who has not been able to analyze the personalization (source of the problem) that occurred as when the worst happened. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study and a survey method with correlational resarch techniques. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire with 38 respondents from 61 PAUD heads who were randomly selected as samples using the Slovin formula. The research method was carried out in which the respondents responded to the questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale consisting of five answer choices, namely always, often, sometimes, rarely, and never. The data analysis used was descriptive and inferential statistics.
Based on the data analysis, it was found that the positive influence of the resilience variable on the optimism of the PAUD head in Tampan District, Pekanbaru City was 34.70%, while the remaining 65.30% was determined by other factors that were not part of this study; Furthermore, it was found that the positive influence of the social support variable on the optimism of the PAUD head in Tampan District, Pekanbaru City was 38.60%, while the remaining 61.40% was determined by other factors that were not part of this study; and it was found that the positive influence of resilience and social support variables on the optimism of the PAUD head in Tampan District, Pekanbaru City was 48.40%, while the remaining 51.60% was determined by other factors that were not part of this study.
