Pengelolaan Operasional Pangkalan Pendaratan Ikan Barek Motor Desa Kijang Kecamatan Bintan Timur Kabupaten Bintan Provinsi Kepulauan Riau

This research was conducted from 25 April to 7 May 2018 at PPI Barek Motor.
The purpose of this study was to determine the operational management of PPI
Barek Motor, particularly regarding the elements and application of operational
management functions. The method used in this research is a survey method. The
data analysis used was descriptive analysis. This research was conducted by
taking primary data and secondary data. Based on the research results show that
operational management that occurs at PPI Barek Motor includes fish landing
activities, marketing activities, repair and maintenance activities for fishing gear
and activities to replenish supplies. The operation of Fish Landing Base Barek
Motor is quite good, which includes the elements and functions of the port as well
as the contribution of fish that comes from quite a lot of fishing, and this place is
also very strategic and profitable. Seeing that in the PPI area, there are several
markets that have become shopping centers, the management at PPI Barek Motor
needs to be improved, with management that goes well at PPI, the operational
management of PPI will also run well. Keywords: Management, operational, PPI
