Persepsi Nelayan Terhadap Program Bantuan Alat Penangkapan Ikan Di Desa Pasar Terandam Kecamatan Barus Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract
The study was conducted on October 2019 in Pasar Terandam Village,
Barus sub district, Central Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatera Province. The
determination of the research location was done (purposive). The method used in
this research in the survey method. The purpose of the study is to analyze the
characteristics of beneficiary fishermen, fishermen perceptions, the relationship
between characteristics and perceptions of fishermen on the fishing gear
assistance program in the Pasar terandam village. Respondent taken in the study
were 50 people.
The results showed that: the characteristic of fishermen were observed of a
very productive age. Most of the fishermen perceptions of the fishing gear
assistance program in the medium category. The relationship between perceptions
and fishermen characteristics on aid programs in the Pasar Terandam village in
strong category, unidirectional and shows a real relationship. This can be seen
based on the relationship between age and perception, education with perception,
income with perception, work experience with perceptions and the number of
dependents with perception are in the strong and unidirectional category.
