Strategi Pengelolaan Hutan Mangrove Berkelanjutan Di Pantai Sasak Kecamatan Sasak Ranah Pasisie Kabupaten Pasaman Barat Sumatera Barat
Mangrove forest is the main life-supporting ecosystem unit which is important in coastal areas, especially in the Sasak Beach area, Ranah Pasisie District. In addition, the mangrove ecosystem has an ecological function as a provider of nutrients for aquatic biota, abrasion barrier, wind and tsunami barrier, waste absorption, and prevention of sea water intrusion, mangrove forests also have economic functions such as providing wood, leaves as raw materials. drugs, and social functions as a field of interaction for the community.Sasak beach at Ranah Pasisie has the potential of a good mangrove forest ecosystem, but until now it has suffered severe damage. Therefore, good and wise management of mangrove ecosystems and coastal areas needs to be supported by management planning, as a document or reference guide for action to achieve goals and objectives in managing an area based on its function in a sustainable manner. However, other things happen to mangrove forests such as land conversion, non-environmentally friendly tourism activities that can damage the mangrove ecosystem on Sasak Beach, Ranah Pasisie District, so that changes that occur will affect other ecosystems. In achieving the objectives of good management, a balanced management plan is needed between ecology and economic and social and institutional needs. This is related to the concept of sustainable development in coastal areas and preventing damage in the mangrove areas of Sasak Beach, Ranah Pasisie District, West Sumatra Regency. This study has the main objective to analyze the potential and determine management strategies in the preservation of mangrove ecosystems and coastal areas, in Sasak Beach, Ranah Pasisie District, West Sumatra Regency. The method used in this research is the survey method, which is one of the research approaches that are generally used for extensive data collection and many aim to find positions, phenomena and determine similarity in status by comparing them with predetermined standards. The results of data processing obtained are then discussed descriptively. Indication of environmental factors for the presence of mangroves in the main component analysis (PCA) with canoco software. For mangrove ecosystem management strategies and coastal areas using a SWOT analysis. The results showed that the mangroves in Sasak Ranah Pasisie Beach already have a mangrove program by planting an area of 5 hectares, but due to natural phenomena (abrasion) in 2013 it damaged the mangroves that had been planted, leaving only a quarter of them left. Basically, the community is invited to carry out the mangrove cultivation process, but the lack of community awareness results in the mangrove forest not developing properly and only a few left. For the remaining mangroves, they do not even form zoning and are directly adjacent to community gardens. There are only two types of mangroves found, in the dominated and homogeneous tree stands, namely Sonneratia caseolaris which is known by the local community as "Brembang" while several species of Rhizophora are found in the sapling stands. sp.The physical condition of the

environment is assumed to have an effect on the remaining mangrove stands. The results of observations made on nine plots (points) of observations according to the presence of mangrove stands obtained an average wind speed of 0.63 m / s, environmental temperature 34.05 0C, light intensity 20215.55 lux, environmental humidity 61% RH, soil pH 4.17, 80.01% soil moisture, and an altitude of 2.66 m above sea level. Main component analysis using Canoco 4.6 software with Ordinasi Canonical Correspondence Analysis (CCA). Based on the analysis, it was found that environmental factors on the presence of mangroves found 4 influential environmental parameters namely wind speed, light intensity, soil pH and environmental humidity. The mangrove ecosystem management strategy is based on the calculation of the difference between ifas and effas factors, which show the coordinates of 1.22 (IFAS) and 1.01 (EFAS). These results indicate that the position of the grand strategy for mangrove ecotourism development is in quadrant I. These results indicate that the position of the IFAS and EFAS factors in the grand strategy matrix shows that they are in a position of strength-opportunity (S-O). The position obtained is in quadrant I. This indicates that the strategy developed is to support a good growth policy (growth oriented strategy) by using the strengths they have to take advantage of existing opportunities.Based on the results of the grand strategy calculation matrix alternative eating based on the resulting matrix will be focused on the formulation of strategy (S-O) which is in quadrant I, then the alternative strategies that can be recommended are as many as 6 points, namely; 1) Increase awareness, understanding and application of education to the community about mangrove and ecotourism systems; 2) Application of regulations regarding ecotourism so that the remaining ecosystems are maintained; 3) Fostering the desire of the community to benefit from ecotourism; 4) Involving community (management group) and government cooperation; 5) Maintain an easily accessible location and good visitor perception so that it becomes social media attraction and influence; 6) Increase social media promotion and other festivals.
