Analisis Faktor Lingkungan Fisik, Sosial Dan Ekonomi Dengan Kejadian Tuberkulosis Paru Di Kecamatan Tambang Kabupaten Kampar
Pulmonary tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis which most attacks the lungs can also attack other organs. TB disease is transmitted by smear positive TB patients, TB germs are transmitted through the air when the patient coughs and sneezes so that the germs spread in the air in the form of droplets (sputum), so people can become infected if they inhale the droplet into the respiratory tract. Based on Indonesia's health profile data year 2018 the number of tuberculosis cases in Indonesia in 2017 is as many as 420,994 cases and increased in 2018 reaching the number 511,873 case.In year 2018, Kampar District Health Office noted the number of cases of TB as many as 1079 cases, with the highest case occurring in mine Puskesmas with a total of 67 cases.This indicates that TB disease is still a health problem in the community.
The aim of the study was to analyse the influence of physical, social and economic environmental factors on the incidence of positive pulmonary tuberculosis in Tambang District, Kampar Regency. The method used in this study is an analytic survey using a case control design. Sampling was carried out in total as many as 43 people, but 36 respondents obtained positive smear pulmonary TB cases that met the requirements and sought control were 36 respondents who were not infected with pulmonary TB in the same area, namely neighboring respondents. Analysis of the data used is the Chi square test and multiple logistic regression tests using SPSS.
The results of the study using the Chi square test showed that there was a significant effect between temperature (P = 0,018), humidity (p = 0,002), ventilation (p = 0,009), lighting (p = 0,008), knowledge (P = 0,009), housemate (P = 0,005), smoking behavior (p = 0,005), and monthly income (P = 0,034) of positive BTA pulmonary TB disease incidence. The variable which significantly did not affect the incidence of positive pulmonary TB disease was floor type (p = 0.354). After a multiple logistic regression test, the most influential variable on the incidence of positive pulmonary tuberculosis in Tambang District, Kampar Regency was the humidity variable (p = 0.017). It is recommended that improvements are made to improve the environmental conditions of the home by paying more attention to aspects of sanitation of a healthy home and improving clean and healthy living behavior.
