Analisis Permintaan Rumah Tangga Terhadap Ikan Tongkol (Euthynnus Affinis) Di Pasar Sangkumpal Bonang Kota Padangsidimpuan Provinsi Sumatera Utara

ABSTRACT
This research was conducted on 06 March 2020 - 23 April 2020 at Sangkumpal
Bonang Market, Padangsidimpuan City, North Sumatra Province. The purpose of this
study was to determine the total tongkol purchased by household consumers (kg /
month) and to analyze the factors that affect the demand for tongkol in Sangkumpal
Bonang market, Padangsidimpuan City. The method used in this research is a survey
method. The technique of determining respondents using accidental sampling with a
number of respondents 60 people.
The results showed that the total tongkol fish purchased by household consumers
was 8 kg or a percentage of 46,7% with 28 respondents, so that the average tuna
consumption in 1-30 days was 0.3 kg. and the factors that influence the demand for
tongkol are the tongkol price variable, income variable, and the number of household
members variable, while the variable which does not affect the tuna demand is the
chicken substitution price in the Sangkumpal Bonang market, Padangsidimpuan city.
