Pengaruh Profesionalisme Guru Dan Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Terhadap Kinerja Guru Di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kecamatan Kunto Darussalam Kabupaten Rokan Hulu
This study aims to analyze the effect of teacher professionalism and
principal leadership on teacher performance. The research was conducted in 23
public elementary schools in Kunto Darussalam District, Rokan Hulu Regency,
from March to May 2020. The population in this study were all civil servant
teachers in SD Negeri Kunto Darussalam Subdistrict, Rokan Hulu Regency,
totaling 222 people. The sampling technique used random sampling with the
Slovin formula. The number of samples taken was 69 civil servant teachers in SD
Negeri Kunto Darussalam District, Rokan Hulu Regency. The research analysis
tool used the mean score analysis and multiple linear regression. The results of
the study concluded that partially 1). Teacher professionalism has a positive and
significant relationship with teacher performance. There is a unidirectional
relationship between teacher professionalism and teacher performance. The
higher the teacher professionalism in carrying out teacher work activities, the
higher and better the teacher's performance and vice versa. 2). Principal
leadership has a positive and significant relationship with teacher performance.
There is a unidirectional relationship between principal leadership and teacher
performance. The higher the leadership role of the principal in directing the work
of teachers, the higher and better the teacher's performance and vice versa. 3).
Teacher professionalism and principal leadership simultaneously have a positive
and significant relationship with teacher performance. In terms of correlation, the
amount of teacher professionalism and teacher performance is 62.7%; principal
leadership with teacher performance of 52.6%; as well as the professionalism of
teachers and the leadership of the principal contributed 46% to the performance
of civil servant teachers in every SD Negeri Kunto Darussalam District, Rokan
Hulu Regency.
