Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Dan Motivasi Berprestasi Guru Terhadap Kinerja Guru MTSN Kota Pekanbaru
This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of principal leadership and teacher achievement motivation on the performance of MTsN teachers in Pekanbaru city from July to October 2020. The population in this study were PNS (Civil Servant) teachers at MTsN Pekanbaru city. The sample used random sampling using the Slovin formula. The number of samples taken was 59 civil servant teachers at MTsN Pekanbaru. The analysis tool uses the Pearson Product Moment Correlation technique.
The results of the study conclude that 1) partially, the principal's leadership has a significant positive relationship to teacher performance. The higher the role of the principal's leadership in directing the work of teachers, the higher and better the teacher's performance is and vice versa. 2) Teacher achievement motivation has a positive and strong significant relationship to teacher performance. . The higher the teacher professionalism in carrying out teacher work activities, the higher and better the teacher's performance and vice versa. 3) Principal leadership and teacher achievement motivation simultaneously have a significant positive relationship to teacher performance. The higher the leadership role of the principal in directing the teacher in work and the achievement motivation of the individual teacher as a driving force for him to work, the higher and better the teacher's performance and vice versa.
