Efisiensi Waktu Pembongkaran Ikan Terhadap Waktu Tambat Kapal Purse Seine Di Pangkalan Pendaratan Ikan Pusong Kecamatan Banda Sakti Kota Lhokseumawe

ABSTRACT
Damaged facilities made the landing process take a long time, causing queues of
ships which was the cause of the decline in fish quality. This research was
conducted to determine the efficiency level of fish unloading time, using a survey
method by observing and collecting data directly at PPI Pusong. Unloading
activities are carried out by the ship crew as well as for the sorting and weighing
procces, based on research the existence of facilities at the pusong landing base
associated with the landing activity of the catch at the location is still very
minimal due to silting the harbor pool which make ships have to wait for high
tide. From analysis carried out, the size of the fleet the decreases the level of
efficiency of the time of unloading fish, ship crew have ages ranging from 17
years to 60 years with an average of 31,3 – 39,3 years with a coefficient value of -
0,675, which means that the increasing age of the unloading actors, the level of
efficiency will be low. It is known that the efficiency level of the fish landing time
77,11% obtained from the average loading time efficiency with the afficient
efficiency level.
