Kajian Strategi Pengendalian Pencemaran Sungai Siak Menggunakan Pendekatan Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP)
General phenomenon of the decision making of water resource development is complex, multi-sector and multi-actors, requiring an alignment between technical and non-technical aspects, systematic analysis procedure is required to integrate a variety of competitive intentions and decision Support System (DSS) is an important part as an analysis tool for decision making. The main objective of this research is to develop the pollution management strategy of Siak River by prioritizing factors and actors in order to remain sustainable. The approach method used in this research uses the AHP model as one of Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) branches which has advantages as a tool for decision-making in the field of water resources applied in various cases and proved successful in solving various decision making problems.The primary data is a questionnaire data with a target assessment of experts (expert judgment) who are deemed competent to assess the processing of pollution of Siak River covering higher education is represented by the University of Riau (UR),Center for the ecoregion development control Sumatera (PPPES), Non-governmental organizations (NGoS) Jikalahari, BP-DAS Indragiri Rokan, Balitbangda Riau province and BWS III Sumatera. The software used is the AHP SCUBK program developed by Simon Barnard SCB Assosiated Ltd United Kingdom to obtain the weights of the factors and actors components. The main results of the research proved that the water pollution control strategy of Siak River using AHP by establishing a priority sequence of factors is the support of policies, budgets, human resources and infrastructure supported using the priority actors in order is the Government, society / Organization /non-governmental organizations /community leaders, industry and colleges.
