This study discusses the resistance of concrete using OPC and PCC cement with a concrete quality plan of f'cr 15 MPa, f'cr 20 MPa and f'cr 28 MPa through a treatment process using normal water for 28 days which is then immersed in a peat water environment with pH ranged from 3.00 to 3.80 with an average pH of 3.44 for 120 days in Bengkalis Regency. The aim of this research is to examine the compressive strength, split tensile strength, porosity and change in concrete weight. In the compressive strength test up to 120 days of immersion in the peat environment, OPC cement concrete with a design quality of 15 MPa, 20 MPa and 28 MPa respectively increased by 8.72%; 5.02% and 31.12%, while for cement concrete PCC increased by 28.5%; 29.8% and 23.4%. At 91 days of immersion, OPC and PCC cement concrete both experienced an increase in split tensile strength and at the same time a decrease occurred at the age of 120 days of immersion in the peat environment. In the porosity test for OPC cement and PCC cement, there was an increase in the porosity at the immersion age for 28 days, then it continued to decrease. A significant decrease in porosity occurred in PCC cement concrete to be -15.1% for f'cr 15 MPa, -18.3% for f'cr 20 MPa and -27.5% for f'cr 28 MPa. In OPC cement concrete, the significance of the reduction in porosity only occurred at the quality of the 28 MPa f'cr plan, which was -15.6%. The decrease in porosity indicates that the concrete is getting denser due to the reduced pore cavities in the concrete. The results of testing changes in concrete weight using OPC and PCC cement continuously decreased the weight of the concrete until the age of 126 days of immersion in the peat environment. For OPC cement concrete, the consecutive weight reduction for f'cr 15 MPa, f'cr 20 MPa and f'cr 28 MPa is -2.9%; -2.7% and -2.1% while for cement concrete, PCC was -2.3%; -2.2% and -1.8%. The entire calculation of the percentage increase / decrease is based on the 0 day age of immersion in the peat environment. Overall, in terms of compressive strength, split tensile strength, porosity and weight change, it can be concluded that the use of PCC cement has a better impact than using OPC cement for concrete exposed to peat water. Likewise, the quality of the f'cr 28 MPa plan also had a much better impact when compared to the quality of the f'cr 15 MPa and f'cr 20 MPa plans.
