Pengaruh Jarak Antar Tiang Terhadap Kapasitas Dukung Kelompok Tiang Pancang Dengan Penambahan Sirip Pada Tanah Lunak
The carrying capacity of soft soil is very small, so to increase the bearing capacity, a friction pile foundation is used with the addition of fins on the pile foundation, this causes an increase in the behavior of the foundation carrying capacity of the fin pile whose foundation type has been determined, namely single pile, group of 4 piles and group 6 poles with variations in the distance between the axles of 2.5D, 3.0D, 3.5D, 4.0D and 4.5D.
The purpose of this study was to determine how much the increase in the bearing capacity of a single pile foundation, a group of 4 piles and 6 piles of a plain and fin foundation model. In conducting this loading test, researchers used the Terzaghi and Peck methods compared to the theoretical calculation of the bearing capacity of the foundation, using two methods, namely the individual bearing method and the square shear method. While the efficiency calculations used include the Converse-Labarre Formula method using equation (2.1), the Poulos and Davis method using equation (2.4) and the Los Angeles Group method using equation (2.5). This calculation is carried out on each foundation model, namely the foundation of the fin pile group and the plain pile group.
The results of this study indicate that for the group foundation type group 6 piles the diagonal fin foundation model with a variation of the distance of 2.5D has the highest bearing capacity reaching 54.98% and the ultimate reaching 45.77 N. The calculation of the theoretical bearing capacity uses the individual bearing method and Square shear also has a greater result than the measurement results using the Terzaghi & Peck (1967) method with standard errors of 9.10 and 11.70, namely 135 N. The empirical calculation results show that the greatest efficiency value is from the pile group with configuration 2 x 2 based on the Los Angeles Group method, which is 0.813. With the same type of pile group the horizontal fin foundation model with a distance variation of 4.5D based on the pile group test results compared to the single pile test results based on the Terzaghi & Peck (1967) method also has the highest value compared to the 4 pile type group of the pile fin model and plain for all types of variations in the distance between axles, namely 1.64. So according to the above results it shows that the application of fins on the group foundation has an effect on the value of the carrying capacity, ultimate and the efficiency value and based on the results of the pile group test.
Key words : soft soil, pile foundation model variations, bearing capacity, efficiency values.
