Studi Parametrik Beton Campuran Remah Karet Dan Faba (Fly Ash Bottom Ash) Untuk Perkerasan Kaku
The accumulation of used tires in nature continues to increase due to the use of used tires which is still small so that the potential for environmental pollution is very high because used tires cannot be decomposed naturally. One of the industrial wastes that are considered hazardous to the environment is the fine form of coal combustion from a steam power plant called fly ash. Both of these wastes can be used to improve the performance of rigid pavement for roads so they have high rigidity and durability. In this study the parameters that influence the optimum flexural strength in rigid pavement are examined using a mixture of crumb rubber and fly ash according to the 2018 general specifications for road and bridge work.
This research examines the parameters that affect the optimum flexural strength on rigid pavement using a mixture of rubber crumb and fly ash. The four variations of the parameters studied in this study have variations in the factors of water cement (fas) (0.30; 0.32; 0.34), rubber crumb (0%, 5%, 10%), fly ash (0%, 5%). , 10%) and treatment of rubber (unfiltered, fiber, crumb rubber). The control concrete mixture is a mixture using PCC cement. The percentage of rubber crumb is based on the weight of fine aggregate, and the percentage of fly ash is based on the weight of cement. The test results at the age of 28 days showed that the mixture with variations in the water factor of 0.30 cement, 5% rubber crumb and 10% fly ash produced the optimum compressive strength and flexural strength, respectively, 32.07 MPa and 4.62 MPa. Both values have met the requirements in the general specifications for road and bridge works number 02 / SE / Db / 2018 of 2018.It can be concluded that with a proportional mixture composition between the content of rubber crumb and fly ash in the concrete mixture it can improve the physical and mechanical properties of concrete and potential as a rigid pavement material.
