Interpretasi Intrusi Air Laut Dengan Menggunakan Metode Geolistrik Dan Pengukuran Salinitas Air Sumur Bor Di Pulau Kijang Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir
Provision of clean water on Kijang Island, Indragiri Hilir Regency is
absolutely necessary. Provision of clean water can take advantage of the potential
of underground water. Due to the absence of data on aquifers on Kijang Island, it
is necessary to conduct a study for the interpretation of aquifers on Kijang Island.
This study aims to analyze the resistivity value in the Kijang Island area of
Indragiri Hilir Regency, analyze the types of lithology in the Kijang Island
location, Indragiri Hilir Regency, analyze the aquifers in the Kijang Island
location, Indragiri Hilir Regency and analyze sea water intrusion at the Kijang
Island location, Indragiri Hilir Regency.
The method used in this research is geoelectric measurement consisting of
field measurements, data processing and interpretation. Geoelectric
measurements are made by measuring the potential difference at the center
electrode when the current at the outer electrode is injected into the earth. This
measurement is carried out from the shifting of potential electrode spacing for
both Schlumberger configurations. The cross section of the resistivity is then
interpreted about the types of rock layers that exist and the presence of a clean
water layer in the form of underground water. Progres software was used to
process data and create models from resistivity data. Measurement of the salinity
of the well water sample is carried out by taking it directly in the field and
dropping the sample into a refractometer. By taking 5 sample points of water from
the resident's borehole on Kijang Island, Indragiri Hilir Regency. This salinity
measurement can determine the borehole water sample is fresh, brackish or salty.
The results of the analysis of the geoelectric survey in Kijang Island,
Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province, obtained the distribution of resistivity,
lithology, and depth values and the classification of aquifer carrying
groundwater. Drilling in deep groundwater aquifers can be carried out at a
specified depth of the aquifer. When compared with the salinity value of fresh
water, which is 0.5 ppt, the results of the bore well salinity measurement on the
island of Kijang Indragiri Hilir are not good quality and cannot be consumed.
The conclusion that can be drawn from this research is that the maximum and
minimum resistivity values in the Kijang Island area, Indragiri Hilir Regency,
respectively> 5000 Ω.m and 94.7 Ω.m., the lithology at the location of Kijang
Island, Indragiri Hilir Regency, respectively from layers the first to the fourth
layer is gravel (gravel), sand, sand and granite, there are three classifications of
aquifers, namely shallow aquifer (7.6 meters depth), first deep aquifer (62.6
meters depth), second deep aquifer (depth 158.9 meters), the analysis of sea water
intrusion has an average salinity value of 2.6. ppt. This value indicates that the
condition of the aquifer system has occurred intrusion of sea water
