Penentuan Sebaran Akuifer Dan Kualitas Air Bawah Tanah Menggunakan Metode Geolistrik Dan Geokimia Di Desa Rimbo Panjang Kabupaten Kampar
Ground water is a very useful resource for living things on earth. Living
things, especially humans, do various ways to meet their water needs. Efforts to
utilize and develop groundwater in Rimba Panjang village really need to be done.
This is because the village of Rimba Panjang has poor shallow water quality with
peat lithology, which is black, acidic and cannot be consumed directly. So it is
necessary to know the location of underground water in the peatland area in
Rimbo Panjang Village.
This study aims to analyze the distribution of underground water aquifers
in the subsurface structures of the earth in the peat area of Rimbo Panjang
Village, Kampar Regency, Riau, to analyze the distribution of groundwater
quality including pH, BOD, COD, TDS, turbidity and E. Coli bacteria.
The method used in this research is the Wenner and Schlumberger
configuration geoelectric method. The process of processing geoelectric data uses
Res2dinv and Progress 3.0 software to obtain a resistivity cross section that
represents groundwater. The length of the line used in this study is 100 meters
each with a total of 4 passes, with 4 meters of electrode spacing.
The results of the Wenner configuration and the Schlumberger
configuration obtained a range of resistivity values for the aquifer layer obtained
in the Wenner configuration is 258 Ωm - 712 Ωm which is interpreted as a layer
of clay sand at a depth of 2.15 meters - 5.15 meters. The direction of groundwater
distribution for the four routes using the Wenner configuration tends to the
northeast. The measurement results for the Schlumberger configuration have a
range of aquifer resistivity values between 88.93 Ωm - 1081 Ωm which are
interpreted as clay sand at a depth of 1 meter - 12 meters. The distribution
direction of the aquifer layer in the Schlumberger configuration tends to the
northeast. The results of the water quality test using parameters COD, BOD, TDS,
PH, turbidity, and E. Coli bacteria showed that the water quality level in the
Rimbo Panjang area was not in good condition.
The conclusion obtained from this study is that the structure of the layers
in the long rimbo area consists of three successive layers, namely a mixture of
peat and clay, loamy sand, and glaucocyte sandstone, the direction of aquifer
distribution in both configurations tends to the northeast based on the depth of the
aquifer layer. Water quality test using parameters COD, BOD, TDS, PH,
turbidity, and E. Coli bacteria showed that the level of water quality in the Rimbo
Panjang area was not in good condition.
