Analisis Prediksi Kedalaman Sumur Dangkal Berdasarkan Studi Variasi Temporal Dari Data Satelit Grace Di Kecamatan Tampan Kota Pekanbaru
Underground water is a problem in various big cities, including Pekanbaru City.
Kecamatan Tampan as one of the most populous sub-districts in Pekanbaru has an arithmetic
density of 5,148 people / km2 in 2018. This figure has increased by 6.96 percent from the
previous year (Central Bureau of Statistics, 2019). The population growth rate of Kecamatan
Tampan has caused the need for water resources to increase, so that there has been a
significant change in the amount of groundwater and surface water content.
The study aims to analyze underground water storage in Kecamatan Tampan using
GRACE satellite data in the form of variations in Total Water Storage (ΔTWS) and
correlated with In-situ data. ΔTWS modeling in the form of Multiple Linear Regression
equation is used to predict shallow well depth and display it in the form of contour maps and
flow patterns. Parameters that influence ΔTWS modeling are precipitation, evaporation and
runoff.
Classic assumption tests and model feasibility tests are used to determine the
accuracy of the parameters in the data estimation. The test results show that the model meets
the multicollinearity statistical test. The results of the Heteroscedasticity and Normality test
showed that the distribution of the points fulfilled the eligibility to be free from
heteroscedasticity and normality. The results of the feasibility test of the model show that the
hydrological parameters have a probability value smaller than 0.05. Based on all statistical
test results, it can be concluded that the regression model used is able to describe the
relationship between ΔTWS and hydrological parameters and is suitable for predicting
shallow well water depth. The value of the runoff coefficient is greater than the value of the
precipitation coefficient. This is due to the fact that the Kecamatan Tampan area has less
sandy clay rock types and less green open land. The results of the analysis of shallow well
depth predictions show the potential for groundwater loss in the Kecamatan Tampan of
1,180,326.63 m3 every month.
