Pemanfaatan Tepung Limbah Sayur Sawi Dan Kubis Yang Difermentasi Dengan Kombucha Dalam Pakan Benih Ikan Gurami (Osphronemus Gouramy)
Vegetable waste such as chicory and cabbage can be used as fish diet. The
purpose of this study is to know the use percentage of chicory and cabbage waste
fermented with kombucha in the diet to produce feed efficiency, protein retention,
and gourami (Osphronemus gouramy) fingerling growth. This research was
conducted in July - September 2020 at the reservoir of Fisheries And Marine
Faculty, Riau University. The research uses a completely randomized design
(CRD) with one factor, five treatments, and three replications. The treatment in
this study was the use of fermented chicory and cabbage meal (FCCM) in a diet
with different percentages, namely P0 (Control), P1 (15% FCCM), P2 (25%
FCCM), P3 (35% FCCM), and P4 (45% FCCM). The crude protein content of the
test diet was 30%. The test diet given to gourami as much as 10% of the weight of
biomass, given 3 times a day is at 08.00, 12.00 and 16.00 WIB. The gourami
fingerlings are used size 5-7 cm/fish with an average weight of 2.20 ± 0.02 g/fish
and are placed in cages measuring 1x1x1 m with a stocking density of 25 fish/m3.
The container used to observe digestibility parameters is an aquarium with a size
of 60x40x40 cm with a stocking density of 10 fish/L. The diet used for the
parameters of feed digestibility and protein digestibility was added with Cr2O3 as
much as 0.5% of the amount of diet made. The diet was given ad satiation with a
frequency of 3 times a day is at 08.00, 12.00 and 17.00 WIB. The feces were
collected in film bottles and stored in the freezer and then dried to be tested for
Cr2O3 and protein. The result of this research showed the best treatment is P4
(45% FCCM) with feed digestibility, protein digestibility, feed efficiency, protein
retention, specific growth rate and survival rate is 78%, 83%, 30.26%, 26.38%,
2.31% and 86.66%. The water quality during the study was in temperature 28-
300C, pH 6.5-7 and DO 6.3-7 mg/L.
