Pengaruh Penambahan Probiotik Boster Biolacto Dengan Dosis Yang Berbeda Pada Pakan Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Kelulushidupan Ikan Nila Merah (Oreochromis Sp) Yang Dipelihara Di Air Payau
ABSTRACT
Red tilapia (Oreochromis sp) is an economically important fish for consumption.
Red tilapia has the advantage to develop because of its beneficial biological properties
such as easy breeding, fast growth, omnivores, wide adaptability, favored by people with
affordable prices. This study aims to obtain the best probiotic dose to increase the growth
and survival of red tilapia (Oreochromis sp) reared in brackish water to improve
digestibility to increase fish growth, change the ratio of changing feed, growth rate, and
survival of red tilapia (Oreochromis sp). This research was conducted on 26 July - 12
September 2020 for 40 days at the Laboratory of Cultivation Technology, Faculty of
Fisheries and Marine, University of Riau. The research method was carried out by
experiment using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and
3 replications, namely treatment 1). 0 mL / kg of feed (control); 2).7 mL / kg of feed; 3).9
mL / kg of feed; and 4).11 mL / kg of feed. The results showed that the addition of
biolacto booster probiotic to the feed with different doses affected the growth of tilapia
(Oreochromis sp) reared in brackish water on the specific growth rate and feed
conversion ratio. The addition of probiotics at a dose of 7 mL/kg of feed gave the best
growth against the specific growth rate of 3.75%, the best feed conversion ratio was 1.23.
However, the continuity of life was not significantly different in each treatment.
