Analisis Faktor – Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Kinerja Guru Pada Sma Negeri Di Kota Rengat Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu
This research is motivated by the role of teachers as one of the important
and strategic components in the world of education through their performance.
Teacher performance is very important in realizing the goals of national
education and determining the level of quality of education, but the performance
of these teachers is much influenced by various factors, both from within and from
outside the individual concerned. Teacher performance will be good if the teacher
has implemented the elements consisting of loyalty and high commitment to
teaching assignments, mastering and developing learning materials, teaching
discipline and other tasks, creativity in teaching implementation, cooperation with
all. Meanwhile, there are still teachers who have not been able to master the
material to be taught to students. This research is an attempt to get a picture of
how the teacher's performance and the factors that influence it in order to
improve the quality and quality of teachers, especially in SMA Negeri in Rengat
City, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The purpose of this study is to determine how much
influence the teacher competency factors have on teacher performance. Then, to
find out how much influence teacher skills have on teacher performance and how
much influence motivation has on teacher performance. As well as how much the
factors of teacher competence, teacher skills and motivation together on teacher
performance at SMA Negeri in Rengat city, Indragiri Hulu Regency.
This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the performance of
teachers at State Senior High Schools in Rengat City, Indragiri Hulu Regency.
This research was conducted in two months, from March to April. The population
in this study were 120 teachers with a sample of 93 people. Data were collected
by means of a questionnaire and documentation. The data analysis technique used
is multiple regression analysis. The type of this research is quantitative
descriptive.
The results showed that: 1) there is a significant and positive influence
between teacher competence and teacher performance. 2) There is a significant
and positive influence between teacher skills on teacher performance. 3) There is
a significant and positive influence between teacher motivation on teacher
performance. 4) There is a significant and positive influence between teacher
competence, teacher skills and motivation together on teacher performance at
public high schools in Rengat city, Indragiri Hulu Regency either partially or
simultaneously.
