Pengaruh Tingkat Pendapatan, Literasi Keuangan, Dan Penggunaan Media Sosial Terhadap Perilaku Konsumtif Guru
This research goals to analyze the effect of income levels, financial literacy, and use of
social media on teacher consumptive behavior. This type of research is descriptive
quantitative research, this research was conducted in Sabak Auh District, Siak Regency. The
type of data used is primary data in the form of questionnaires and secondary data, namely
civil servant salary amprah and additional employee income (TPP). The population in this
study were 127 teachers and a sample of 94 people. Samples were obtained using the Isaac
Michael Table. The data collection techniques in this study were questionnaires and
documentation. The analysis technique used is the Prerequisite Analysis Test, Descriptive
Analysis and Multiple Regression Analysis.
The results showed: 1) The level of income did not significantly influence the
consumptive behavior of civil servant teachers in Sabak Auh District, Siak, 2) financial
literacy had a negative and significant effect on the consumptive behavior of civil servant
teachers in Sabak Auh District, Siak, 3) the use of social media had an effect positive and
significant impact on the consumptive behavior of civil servant teachers in Sabak Auh, Siak,
4) Income levels, financial literacy and the use of social media together have an effect on the
consumptive behavior of PNS teachers in Sabak Auh District, Siak. Thus, it can be concluded
that consumptive behavior can be minimized by mastering financial literacy and reducing the
use of social media.
