Abstract
Sanitation is all efforts made to ensure the realization of conditions that meet health
requirements. Hygiene in general is a basic characteristic of a hygiene process.
Sanitation and hygiene play an important role in fishery activities because they
directly affect the catch. The purpose of this study is to calculate the sanitation and
hygiene value of fish landing facilities at the Nusantara Sungailiat Fishery Port, to
know the implementation of sanitary and hygienic standards for the use of fish
landing facilities at the port, and to know the TPI activities of the Nusantara
Sungailiat Fishery Port. The results of the research from the assessment of the
Sanitation and Hygiene conditions of PPN Sungailiat as a whole are in the range of
70%, namely with good (good) scores and the implementation of sanitation and
hygienic standards for fish landing facilities at PPN Sungailiat has met the existing
standards which refers to the DJPT rules, the value of the level of application. up
to> 50%.
