Electric power today is very much needed by the community and even becomes the most important part of daily life. Public Street Lighting (LPJU) is very much needed by the whole community, especially at night. Supervision is oriented to ensure that the City Government runs efficiently and effectively in the corridors of the prevailing Invitation Regulations in order to achieve the objectives of the City Government.
The purpose of this research is to find that the Supervision of the Pekanbaru City Transportation Department of Public Street Lighting (LPJU) in Pekanbaru City in 2018 and its inhibiting factors. This research uses descriptive qualitative techniques.
In collecting data, the writer uses interview and documentation techniques.The results of this study found that the supervision of the Pekanbaru City Transportation Service of Public Street Lighting (LPJU) in Pekanbaru City in 2018 has not been carried out optimally, there are still problems found in the field due to several factors, both from the lack of members of the Pekanbaru City Transportation Service, especially in LPJU field, Lack of Supervision Car of Pekanbaru City Transportation Agency, especially LPJU, Lack of LPJU Equipment so that the implementation of LPJU Supervision activities in Pekanbaru City has not been maximized.
