Interaksi Aktor Dalam Pengembangan Potensi Kelapa Sebagai Komoditas Unggulan Di Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir Tahun 2018-2019

Indragiri Hilir Regency Government places coconut as a regional superior commodity. Optimizing the planting and utilization of coconut commodities is a priority of the development program in Indragiri Hilir. This cannot be separated from the government's efforts to maintain the coconut commodity as the most important plant and as a regional identity of Indragiri Hilir. Therefore, the social life of the Indragiri Hilir community is very much influenced by how large and good the coconut plantation is.
This research is conducted with the aim of knowing how the interaction of actors in developing the potential of coconut as a leading commodity in Indragiri Hilir Regency 2018-2019. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques that used are observation, interview and documentation.
The results of this study can be illustrated that the actors involved in the interaction of developing the potential of coconut as a superior commodity in Indragiri Hilir Regency are: Trade and Industry Service of Indragiri Hilir Regency, Plantation Service of Indragiri Hilir Regency, Business Actors, IKM, Farmers, and Societies. The interactions that took place between the actors went well. They support each other in every activity that can support the development of coconut potential. However, in this case the development of coconut in Indragiri Hilir Regency has not been running optimally due to factors that hinder the development of coconut potential, including: Lack of budget and infrastructure, and the lack of creativity of farmers.
