Beton Geopolimer Faba Hybrid Dengan Aditif Portland Composite Cement
ABSTRACT
Concrete geopolymer FABA hybrid is made from a mixture of aggregates,
FABA containing alumina and silica as a binder from the polymerization reaction
with an activator alkaline solution and Portland Composite Cement as an
additive. This study examines the effect of several variables on FABA hybrid
geopolymer concrete, such as NaOH molarity, Ms ratio, PCC addition
percentage, alkali/FABA ratio, and extra water/FABA ratio. Concrete testing
includes compressive strength and porosity. Overall, the compressive strength of
FABA hybrid geopolymer concrete has increased with increasing treatment life,
as well as the porosity value which decreases with increasing age of the concrete.
The highest compressive strength was found in the extra water /FABA variation of
0.26 at the age of 14 days with a value of 22.578 MPa, the lowest porosity value
was also found in the same variation at 28 days with a porosity value of 18.48%.
The optimum mix of geopolymer concrete obtained is in a mixture of 11 with the
variation used, 12 M, Ms 2.5 ratio, addition of 15% PCC cement, 0.65
alkali/FABA ratio, and 0.23 extra water/FABA ratio.
