Pengembangan Modul Berbasis Creative Problem Solving Pada Materi Teknologi Ramah Lingkungan Untuk Meningkatkan Peduli Lingkungan Peserta Didik SMP/MTS
Technological developments in the world have had a huge impact on the
environment. Air, land and water pollution as well as changes in temperature are
the impacts of technological developments that are not accompanied by paying
attention to the impact on the surrounding environment Environmental damage
also occurs due to people's lack of concern for the surrounding environment. To
balance technology and the environment, an environmentally friendly technology
is made. School is a place to change one's mindset and behavior to become a
better person. To provide a solution to this problem, students are asked to play an
active and creative role in providing solutions. Supporting learning media are
needed in learning. From several previous studies and the initial investigation
stage, it was found that the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning module and
model had a positive influence on learning outcomes in terms of improving
students' environmental care.
This study uses research and development methods for the Plomp model.
The purpose of this study is to design CPS-based modules, test the validity and
practicality of CPS-based modules and test the effectiveness of CPS-based
modules in increasing the environmental awareness of students in science subjects
in SMP / MTs. The data obtained in this study through CPS-based module
validation sheets, CPS-based module practice sheets as well as cognitive learning
achievement tests and self-assessment in the form of student questionnaires in
SMP / MTs.
Research analysis for CPS-based module validation data used descriptive
analysis, namely by calculating the validity score by experts for CPS-based
module validation data and for CPS-based module practicality data analysis that
is descriptive analysis by calculating practicality scores by teachers and students
as users of CPS-based modules , then the effectiveness of data analysis is done by
conducting tests and then grouping the criteria.
Based on the results of expert validation, CPS-based modules get an
average value of 0.89 with valid information. In practicality test has a very
practical category, getting an average value of 85.00 based on teacher responses
and 87.83 of student responses. To test the effectiveness of learning using a CPSbased
module, cognitive test results between before and after learning show an
increase to the excellent category. Thus, the CPS-based module is effectively used
to improve the environmental care of students in learning science in SMP / MTs.
