Pengembangan Instrumen Uji Pengetahuan Calon Sarjana Pendidikan Biologi Berdasarkan Kerangka Tpack Dan Kkni
21st century events with changes in various aspects of human life, one of
which is in dealing with information and communication technology problems,
including in the learning process. The world of work demands a change in
competence. An important competency in the 21 century with the ability to think
critically, solve problems, and collaborate. Educators and Education Personnel
Institutions are the highest education institutions that carry out undergraduate
and postgraduate programs as well as professions that are directed primarily at
mastering educational disciplines, in accordance with the Indonesian National
Qualifications Framework (KKNI) which is able to prepare students as
prospective teachers who can meet the needs of current education personnel.
LPTK as providers of academic and professional education need to
conduct studies related to improving the quality of education. The assessment of
instruments that can be used to measure TPACK can help improve knowledge
competencies for prospective teachers. The development of knowledge testing
instruments based on the TPACK and KKNI framework will be used by
prospective biology education graduates and those who wish to continue to the
teacher professional education program to train and improve their ability to do
exam questions.
This study aims to produce a knowledge test instrument for prospective
biology education undergraduate candidates based on the TPACK and KKNI
framework. The development model used in this research is the Plomp model with
the research stages consisting of the preliminary research phase, the development
or prototyping phase and the assessment phase, where the research is only
carried out until the prototype (development) stage. This research was conducted
at FKIP Biology, Riau University. The instrument used in this study was the
validation sheet instrument and the instrument designed. The validation sheet
aims to see the usefulness of the questions from expert suggestions and input,
while the question instrument is used during the trial where the test results are
analyzed for reliability, unidimensionality, level of difficulty, distinguishing
power, question fraud function and Person-item map. The instrument consists of
80 questions based on the TPACK framework, namely the indicators of TK, TPK,
TCK, PK, PCK, PTK knowledge. This instrument was analyzed using Winstep
software.
Based on the research that has been carried out and the discussion that
has been presented, it can be concluded in general that the knowledge test
instrument for biology education undergraduate candidates based on the TPACK
and KKNI framework that has been developed is suitable to be used to measure
the ability of prospective teachers and biology teachers.
The development of a test instrument for the knowledge of candidates for
biology education based on the TPACK and KKNI framework has met the
characteristics of a good test, namely having a high average validity value

obtained from 4 validators on the material aspect of 3.75, construction aspect of
3.79, and language aspect 3.75 with a very valid category, high reliability that is
equal to 0.97, unidimensionality is good with 47.3% Raw varience, has a difficulty
level from easy to difficult, has a distinguishing power with a range of 0.0 - 0.7,
the distractor function works with well, the items are spread evenly on the personitem
map. The instrument for testing the knowledge of Biology Education
graduate candidates has followed the TPACK and KKNI frameworks so that it
can be used to measure student mastery.
