Pengembangan Komik Cerita Rakyat Sebagai Media Pembelajaran Membaca Pemahaman Untuk Siswa Sekolah Dasar
This study aims to test the feasibility of folklore comics in order to reflect on thematic learning material theme 8 sub-theme 1 learning 1 about the environment where I live. This research was conducted in one of the homes of the fourth grade students of SDN 130 Pekanbaru in June 2020. This research is motivated by the lack of learning media about reading comprehension material that can be used for elementary school students. The use of media is very important to encourage children to be enthusiastic about learning. Folklore comics are an interesting medium. The development of folklore comics is carried out using the Research and Development (R&D) method in accordance with the 4-D development model development procedure. The feasibility test for folklore comic products got a validation percentage score, namely media experts at 92.5% in the "Very Appropriate" category, and from material experts 95% with the "Very Appropriate" category. The overall student response to the folklore comic that was developed received a percentage score of 93.5% in the "Very Good" category, and the students' reading comprehension ability test got an average score of 92 in the "Good" category.
