ABSTRACT
Personal shopper is a job in and out of shops, malls. According to the
wishes of customers who believe in their services. The goods you are looking for
are not only at the local level but also abroad. Personal shopper aims to meet the
needs of consumers who are very consumptive. However, this personal shopper
activity has a weakness because consumers cannot see the goods directly so that if
there is a problem with the goods purchased by consumers, it is difficult for
consumers to ask for compensation from the seller.
This type of research can be classified as sociological research because
this research is carried out directly at the location to obtain data to provide a
complete and clear picture of the problem.
The results of the research conducted by the author to determine the
arrangement of hidden defects in personal shopper activities and dispute
resolution of hidden defects in personal shopper activities. In accordance with the
regulations in the Civil Code regarding hidden defects, Law Number 8 of 1999
concerning consumer protection and other related laws, where business actors
are obliged to bear hidden defects and resolve disputes in personal shopper
activities.
