Peningkatan Kinerja Karyawan Melalui Pelatihan Dan Motivasi Kerja Pada Pt. Bank Cimb Niaga Pekanbaru
There are many ways that companies do to improve employee performance.
One of the ways that PT. Bank CIMB Niaga Pekanbaru by conducting training and
work motivation for its employees, because this is considered to have an important
role in improving employee performance. Therefore, this research will formulate
the problem boundaries; 1. How do training methods and motivation affect
employee performance improvement? 2. How much is the contribution of training
and motivation to improve employee performance.
Employee performance or called job performance is work performance
obtained from work results in the form of quality and quantity of a person in
accordance with their responsibilities. To obtain this work performance, training
and work motivation are needed. Job training has two methods, namely On the Job
Training and Off the Job Training. Meanwhile, motivation is also influenced by two
things, namely intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation.
This study analyzes employee performance improvement through training
and motivation. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study involving
76 samples from 94 populations. The data is collected through a questionnaire that
is distributed online. The results of data collection were then analyzed descriptively
by paying attention to the percentage of each variable. Meanwhile, statistical
analysis was performed using the two way annova test.
The results of this study indicate the conclusion that different training
methods will provide a significant difference in motivation, although partially they
do not have a significant effect on performance. However, increasing motivation is
important to improve employee performance, which in this study shows that
motivation greatly affects employee performance.
