Pengaruh Upah Minimum Regional, Pendidikan Dan Investasi Terhadap Penyerapan Tenaga Kerja Di Provinsi Riau Tahun 2005-2019

This study aims to analyze to analyze how much influence the regional minimum wage (UMR), education and investment have on labor absorption in Riau Province in 2005-2019. This study uses secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Riau Province in 2005 - 2019, while the data analysis technique is to use the multiple linear regression method. The results of the study found that the regional minimum wage has a significant positive effect on labor absorption in Riau Province in 2008-2019, meaning that any increase in the regional minimum wage will encourage an increase in labor absorption in Riau Province. Education has a significant negative effect on labor absorption in Riau Province in 2008-2019, meaning that any increase in education seen from the average length of schooling will encourage a decrease in labor absorption in Riau Province. Investment does not have a significant effect on employment in Riau Province in 2008-2019.
