Karakteristik Habitat Kepiting Biola, Genus Uca (Decapoda, Ocypodidae) Di Ekosistem Mangrove Desa Sungai Rawa, Kabupaten Siak, Riau
Mangrove ecosystem is the main ecosystem for life activities in the coastal area, and fiddler crab is one of the fauna associated with the mangrove ecosystem. This research aims to determine the dominant habitat characteristics and calculate the diversity of the fiddler crab and analyze the factors Biotic and Abiotic of the EcosystemMangrove inSungaiRawa village, Siak regency, Riau, the purposive sampling method uses 12 stations in 3 transects. The abundance and diversity offiddler crab were analyzed with thepercentage formula and habitat characteristics analyzed descriptive. There are 9 species of research results of fiddler crab that is Uca criptica, U benggali, U forcipata, U coartata, U dussumieri, U paradussumieri, U vocans, U chloropthalmus, Galamus excise. Most individualsUca forcipataat station 1 with a total of 10 individuals and an abundance of0.13 ind/m2, while the lowestUca criptica, U vocans, Galamus excisewith a total of 1 individual and an abundance of 0.02 ind/m2, abiotic character of fiddler crab habitattemperature31-32 oC, pH water 7.29-8.05, pH substrat 4.46-6.2, salinity 21.5-22.5 ‰,with sandy loam substrates and loamy sand. The conclusion obtained is that the most dominant habitat characteristics for fiddler crab life is in station 1 which is dominated by Avicennia plants and the diversity index can be said to be moderate with a data of 1.88 and abiotic characteristics in the mangrove ecosystem of SungaiRawa village, Siak regency, Riau. optimum for fiddler crab life and also a heterogeneous mangrove.
