Keanekaragaman Paku Epifit Di Pekanbaru, Riau Berdasarkan Morfologi Stomata

Pekanbaru City is one of the epiphytic ferns distribution areas. This study aims to determine the diversity of epiphytic ferns in Pekanbaru, Riau based on the morphology of the stomata. All samples from the field were collected by exploration method. Morphological data were scaled and analyzed using NTSys PC 2.02i. A total of 20 species of epiphytic ferns (11 genera and 7 families) were identified in this study. The results showed that hypostomatic stomata for all types of epiphytic ferns were observed and had the same guardian cells, kidney. However, in species the amount and distribution varies. The similarity coefficient ranges from 0.54-0.96. The lowest coefficient was found in the type of Pyrrosia longifolia and Vittaria lanceolate while the highest coefficient was found in the Nephrolepis hirsutula and Ghoniophlebium verrucosom types. The dendogram obtained shows the two main groups that group together based on the similarity of the shape of neighboring cells.
