Analisis Sekuens Barkode Dna Pada Daerah Ndhf-Rpl32 Intergenic Spacer Pada Tumbuhan Pandan (Benstonea Sp.) Asal Riau

Exploration of natural resources found in Riau is one step for get information and potential so that it can be used by humans. One of the plants that can be explored is pandan Benstonea sp. from Riau in Kajuik Lake, Langgam District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province. This plant has unknown taxonomic status even though it has been identified using several DNA barcodes. Therefore an analysis was carried out using the DNA barcoding sequence ndhF-rpl32 Intergenic Spacer on Benstonea sp. from Riau. The stages of this research included total DNA isolation using Genomic DNA Mini Kit Plant, Polymerase Chain Reaction using the DreamTaq DNA Polymerase kit, electrophoresis, sequencing and data analysis using BioEdit version 7.0, BLASTn and MEGA version 6. The results showed that the length of ndhF-rpl32 Intergenic Spacer on Benstonea sp. Riau origin was 961 bp. There was no accession has been found that had 100% similarity to Benstonea sp. from Riau. Conclusion, there is a possibility that the Benstonea sp. is a species that had never been reported or identified.
