Analisis Penjaminan Mutu Internal Di Smas Cendana Mandau Yayasan Pendidikan Cendana Riau
This study aims to determine specifically the matters detailed as the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) at Cendana Mandau Senior High School, namely: 1) Quality assurance system planning, 2) Quality assurance implementation, 3) Quality assurance evaluation and impact. The research method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach.
The research data is in the form of primary data and secondary data from interviews, documentation and observations. The primary data source is the Principal of the Cendana Mandau High School. The secondary data source was the head of the SPMI team at SMAS Cendana Mandau. The data that has been collected are analyzed qualitatively with a descriptive-interpretive approach. The data are interpreted and then described in attributive sentences. The analysis model used by the researcher is data reduction, data analysis, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: 1) Planning for the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) at SMAS Cendana Mandau Duri was carried out with school members and socialized by a team formed by the school. The team and working group conducted a task mapping outlined in the SPMI guidelines for Cendana Mandau High School. 2) The implementation of the internal quality assurance policy at Cendana Mandau High School is considered good. The existence of procedures and steps and formats provided by the government in accordance with the National Education Standards facilitate performance regarding the implementation of the quality assurance system at the education unit level. 3) The evaluation has been carried out well and the mapping is carried out on the achievements in accordance with the standards that have been made. The results of the evaluation are used to be considered in the next stage of the program. 4) The implementation of SPMI at Cendana Mandau High School has had a positive effect on schools.
The result of implementing the Internal Quality Assurance System is an increase in the quality of education at the school level from time to time. This positive influence is evidenced by: First, the increasing value of quality report cards for Cendana Mandau Senior High School in accordance with official data issued by the education office through LPMP. Second, the increase in school performance and student achievement (2017 to 2018), the number of graduates entering PTN and PTS vaporites is increasing. In general, the researchers did not find any significant obstacles or or barrier factors affecting the implementation of the internal quality assurance system at Cendana Mandau Senior High School. Good SPMI implementation is expected to be a process of creating a school quality culture.
