Inventarisasi Ikan-Ikan Famili Bagridae Dari Sungai Kampar Kiri Provinsi Riau
Kampar Kiri River is the Kampar River flow which has a function as a source of freshwater fish. Generally the fish species found are consumption fish so that the river is one of the fisheries production centers in Riau and also as a transportation, toilet washing bath, agriculture and household waste disposal. This greatly affects the availability of fish resources in the Kampar Kiri River, one of which is the family Bagridae. Available data and complete information, as well as ongoing data colletion from year to year regarding about the types of fish Bagridae family in the waters of the Kampar Kiri River are still lack, so it is necessary to do research on the inventory of Bagridae family fish in the waters of the Kampar Kiri River. The purpose of this study was to determine the diversity of fish Bagridae family in the waters of the Kampar Kiri River, Pekanbaru, Riau Province. Fish samples were collected from local fishermen from January to November 2018. Fish were identified at the Zoology Laboratory, Department of Biology, University of Riau. Fish found consisted of 5 species and 2 genera namely the genus of Bagroides and Mystus, B. melanopterus (25) individuals, M. nigriceps (65) individuals, M. nemurus (27) individuals, M. micracanthus (55) individuals, M. wyckii (1) individual.
