Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Matematika Dengan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah Pada Materi Matriks Untuk Memfasilitasi Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Peserta Didik Kelas X SMK
This research is motivated by the low mathematical critical thinking ability of learners and the lack of learning tools that are seen to facilitate the critical thinking ability of learners. Based on interviews, observations, documentation studies, analysis of test students' test of critical thinking ability, the researchers obtained the fact that the learning tools owned by teachers have not contained all aspects of permendikbud number 22 year 2016 and curriculum 2013 so that the critical mathematical thinking ability of learners has not been felt properly. Thus, the purpose of this research is to produce learning tools in the form of syllabus, RPP, and LKPD that can facilitate the mathematical critical thinking ability of learners that are valid and practical to use.
This research is a development research using Borg and Gall models. Development consists of several stages, namely data research and collection, planning, development of initial product drafts, small-scale trials, revision of small-scale trial results, large-scale trials, effectiveness tests, revision of effectiveness test results, and decimination and implementation. The test subjects of this study were students of SMK Nurul Falah Pekanbaru. The instruments used are validity instruments in the form of syllabus validation sheets, RPP validation sheets, LKPD validation sheets, and practicality instruments in the form of student response questionnaires.
Based on the results of validity data analysis, it is concluded that the learning tools developed are very valid. Syllabus validation results are 85.11; average RPP score is 86.02; and the average LKPD score is 86.40. Thus, the learning tools developed are declared valid and worthy of testing. Based on analysis of practicality data, the average response questionnaire of learners in the initial field trial was 85.93 with a very practical category. Thus the learning device is declared practical.
The development research has produced products in the form of Syllabus, RPP, and LKPD with Problem-Based Learning Model on Matrix Material to Facilitate Critical Thinking Ability of SMK Class X Learners. The learning device is declared valid through a validation process, and is declared practical through initial field trials. Overall the learning tools developed have met valid and practical criteria.
