ABSTRAK
Jalan HR Soebrantas KM 15 is a 4-lane, 2-way road divided (4/2 T) with a lane
width of 3.8 m, the performance of Jalan HR Soebrantas KM 15 has decreased
due to population growth, the number of motorized vehicles and activities on the
right and left of the road, so that the value the ratio between traffic volume and
road capacity becomes high which can result in congestion. To prove this
hypothesis, a study was carried out using the direct survey method, data
calculation using the Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines, 2014 method for
inner-city roads, research was carried out to obtain data and to identify existing
problems, so that the level of Road Performance HR Soebrantas KM 15 could be
determined. . Based on the research results, it is known that the peak traffic
volume of Jalan HR Soebrantas KM 15 occurs on Saturday afternoon peak hours
at 17.00-18.00 at 2301.65 pcu / hour and road capacity is 3850.7 pcu / hour with a
DS value of 0.59 and travel speed is 51 km / hour. HR Street. Soebrantas KM 15
Pekanbaru City is categorized at service level C where Delay is real but still
acceptable (Stable Flow.)
