Optimalisasi Kinerja Jaringan Microwave Link 4g Point To Point Indosat Kecamatan Benai – Teluk Kuantan

Optimization the performance of Indosat's 4G microwave link network in the Benai-Teluk
Kuantan area using pathloss software. Microwave link functions to transmit information
from one place to another without any interference. The design carried out by PT. Xerindo
with antenna height of 40m and 45m simulated with pathloss software resulted in a lot of
network bottlenecks, with a network speed of around 2-5 Mbps from the results of the
speedtest conducted. So to optimize the microwave link network conditions in the Benai-Teluk
Kuantan area, changing the antenna height to 50m and 55m has been designed. Then a speed
test was conducted with a sample of 3 villages, namely Siberakun village, Jalur Patah and
Benai small villages. The new design results in a barrier-free network, with a network speed
of around 7-8 Mbps.
